SLEEP NANNY - SLEEP NURSE

What does a Sleep Nurse or Night Nanny Do?

Our Sleep Nanny & Sleep Nurses carry out work very similar to that of a Maternity Nurse, however, more often during the night with more focus on the baby being settled, they carry out the babies cares, feeding (bring baby to mother during breastfeeding) or give a bottle this could be expressed or formula, whichever feeding option you have chosen Our Sleep Nurses also implement a good routine & sleep pattern, parents can benefit from a good nights rest, the sleep nurse can debrief parents of baby’s sleep/feeding diary in the morning or over email or messenger later that day you are rushing for work, whichever suits the parents. Our Sleep Nurse can offer various tips and advice to help the parents going forward - Newborn Nannies and Sleep Nurses typically work with families from the early days until a good sleeping pattern has been established usually around 12 weeks, often sooner. It may be that the family only requires the Sleep Nurse/Sleep Nanny 2 for 3 days a week or at weekends or simply to allow the parents a good night’ sleep as a one off ore even a weekend away or night out.

Our staff have extensive experience caring for newborns who suffer with colic, silent reflux or poor sleepers and will always provide care with these ailments in mind.

Your sleep is so precious during these early days, Lothian Maternity Support understand this, your baby and other family members will benefit longterm, your family time will become QUALITY TIME It is a luxury you cannot go without, get in touch.

Placenta Encapsulation & Other Placenta Remedies

Placenta Encapsulation & Remedies -www.placentasolutions.co.uk Our sister company for Placenta PILLS images

PRICE LIST 2019

Placenta Encapsulation offers a simple and palatable option to consume your placenta following birth as well as continuing benefits over an extended period of time. Placenta Encapsulation is by far the most requested placenta remedy from Lothian Placenta Remedies closely followed by our Placenta Tincture & Essence.

There are two methods of placenta encapsulation. The steamed method using ginger, chilli and lemon which all have separate healing properties, or simple/raw dried method which involves dehydration of raw placenta for 14-18 hrs. Both methods require grinding and encapsulation following complete dehydration.

Simple method preparation is a popular method amongst new mothers, there is no seamed preparation as in the steamed method. During the simple method the raw placenta is sliced and dehydrated at a high temperature for a short while in order to destroy surface pathogens and yeasts. The temperature is then reduced and the placenta is then dehydrated for further 12-14 hrs.

Clients who wish to increase their energy levels are likely to benefit from these capsules as raw dried capsules yield a stronger energies response. Do not take raw dried capsules immediately prior to bedtime, as they have been reported to have a stronger energetic response. Approx 70 -200 capsules will be produced depending on the size of your placenta.

Storage : Capsules must be stored in a cool dry place away from sunlight. Do not put in Fridge. Can be kept up to 6 months or frozen up to 24 months.

Our Placenta Specialists are fully qualified and are the only registered specialist within Scotland they have been approved by and passed by the Environmental Health Office within West Lothian Council as @ May 2019.

Please always read directions reverse of back or consult your GP/medical adviser if unsure whether placenta encapsulation is right for you.

The placenta is considered a powerful and sacred medicine, “a full of life force”organ in China and has been documented as a healing medicine since circa 1578. Steaming the placenta using ginger, lemon and chilli prior to dehydration is part of the process for this placenta remedy. Ginger aids circulation, lemon is a grounding remedy and chilli is warming for the blood and body.

We dehydrate your sliced placenta for 12-14 hours, grind and encapsulate into vegetarian capsules, a process use by placenta specialists with great success as an alternative to the simple preparation.Encapsulation will produce between 70 - 200 capsules depending on the size of your placenta

Storage : Steamed Capsules should be stored in a cool dry place away from sunlight. Can be kept up to 6 months or frozen up to 24 months. Do not put in fridge.

Please always read directions reverse of back or consult your GP/medical adviser if unsure whether placenta encapsulation is right for you.

Also used effectively to reduce the signs of stretch marks, scar tissue and burns.

The placenta is rich in oestrogen which builds collagen in the skin and progesterone which inhibits the breakdown of collagen, which can lead to the development of wrinkles as we age. Proteins from the placenta of cows and sheep are frequently used in commercially available anti-aging products.
